Custom Wall Murals by Quentin Nelson

When I started airbrushing over 20 years ago I applied paint to just about anything that wasn't nailed down and some things that were.  I airbrushed countless graphics on vehicles, cloth, leather, helmets, paper, glass, etc.  You name it...I probably splattered some paint on it at one time or another.  I soon realized my favorite canvases to "make my mark" were walls, and the larger, the better.

 

I have airbrushed many wall murals in schools, bars, bedrooms, rec rooms and businesses and it always seemed the larger the mural, the more I enjoyed the project.  Check out some of my other work on Facebook.  

Another...Out With The Old... In With The New

It was time for an update on the old Schuyler Nebraska Chamber of Commerce Parade Sign.   The old Parade signage was out-dated and needed a face-lift.  The goal was to create a new sign that featured many of the diverse activities and opportunities available in the little Nebraska town of Schuyler.  Each letter of the name "SCHUYLER" featured a different activity or image, from swimming and education to a picture of the Historic Oak Ballroom dance hall. 

Schuyler native, Quentin Nelson, owner of Q-Graphix was able to reuse the old sign board and apply all new graphics and copy to bring the sign to life.  The sign will be used on the Chamber of Commerce parade float to promote the Annual Schuyler Labor Celebration.

Out With The Old........In With The New!

The Schuyler Nebraska Legion Baseball Association has recently updated the signage they use to promote their games.  The old A-Frame sign had been in use for many years and had served the team well, but when it came time to "repaint" the old sign it was apparent a new sign was in store.  The new A-Frame sign was created by Quentin Nelson of Q-Graphix and is proudly displayed in downtown Schuyler on game days with game time prominently marked on the sign.  The new sign should help draw local crowds down to the historic Merchant Park on the south end of Schuyler on game days.

Schuyler Fire Department mailbox

The Schuyler Fire Department is holding their annual banquet/dance on January 29th, 2011.  The event will be held at the historic Oak Ballroom in Schuyler, Nebraska.

 

During the banquet, there will be a silent auction with many items up for bid.  Q-Graphix has donated a custom designed Schuyler Fire & Rescue mailbox.  Happy bidding!
